Counter Sales / Receiving
Maine Trailer Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Counter Sales Person. This is a Monday - Friday 7:30am-5:00 pm position that will support various areas of our parts and service department. If you are looking for a position with variety, this is the position for you!
Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Counter sales including walk-in's / phone
- Quote customers on products at predetermined price levels
- Answering phone and understanding customer's projects
- Assist with keeping inventory neat and orderly
- Physically loading and unloading of stock orders as well as loading and unloading customer orders
- Pulling orders and pick tickets to assure all product is ready to go
- Physically help and serve Service customers when needed to help the Service department
- Assist in receiving and checking in incoming freight. Assist in putting away inventory at predetermined bin locations.
- Report any inventory discrepancies to Supervisor
- Assisting in unloading and loading company trucks as needed
- Assist in pulling and tagging open orders for parts route sales and customers
- Keep warehouse neat and organized at all times
- Keep the parts runner truck interior and exterior clean including washing the truck when needed. Report any issues to the Service Advisor.
- Keep customer entrance area clean and free of trash
- Maintain the appropriate State of Maine license in good standing.
